I finally got this page to update! Well, we have new videos and an upcoming gig this Friday at the Emporium. We'll be playing with Sister Clause and the cover charge should be $5. Remember to buy some drinks while you're there too.
Things are starting to happen again. We have a show next Friday on the 9th at The Emporium with Mad Hatter and Chokeslam. Check it out, this time the bands are actually worth seeing.
Alright. This message goes out to all of you ingrates that want to go to River Bend instead of our show Friday. First of all, I hear about more and more people talk about going to River Bend on Friday instead of this show. Well if you want to be a PUSSY then fine. Go ahead, you can go listen to Edwin McCain. I bet most of you would like that more than 3 hardcore metal bands. Do you want to know who goes to River Bend anyways? Old people and preps! So if you rather walk around all night and pay $3 for every drink then do that, but all of you that don't support this scene.....FUCK YOU!!! This might even be the last Pawn Souls show anyways.
I redesigned the pics page and added some pics from the May 19th show. Check them out and the ones that will be posted up in the future. Madd props to Dustin on making that new logo.
Just a reminder, show tonight at the Emporium (822-8222). Starts at 8PM and goes on until around 11:30 PM and the cover is $5. This is going to be a really good show, so be there. We also have another show lined up next Saturday on the 17th. I don't have much information on this show as of right now, but it's at the Tavern and it's 18 and older. That's okay since most people underage want to go to the last night of NightFall. Hell, I kinda do, but I rather get paid. This will be our last show for a while since Doug is going to Japan this summer again. If you want to get on the next Pawn Souls video then look for Dustin and me before and after the show because we're gonna have another video camera taping the fans upclose. This new video will be the best yet. Not only will it have us and the fans, but Mad Hatter as well. We are going to get a bunch of copies of this one if everything goes right. Of course, if we do this we ask that you actually pay this time. It seem sthe only people that want videos are our friends and other bands and we don't have a problem giving them free to them, but we're desperate for money right now. Help us out and donate.
Well, I guess most of you have heard that after this show Saturday, Pawn Souls will be no more. Sorry if for some reason we have disappointed anyone, I'm sure there are few. There's just not enough room in this city for a whole bunch of metal bands so the Pawn Souls must disappear. It was all fun and I enjoyed the response we got at the 4/20 show. It was amazing!! Cinco de Mayo was a pretty killer show too. Even at our first appearance in Nelson's basement. That was probably the most fun I've ever had as a performer. I was just sad that more people didn't make it out to the show on Friday to hear us announce that it was our last all-ages show. So, if you want to wish Pawn Souls good-bye possibly forever, and your 18 or older, then make it out to the Tavern at 8PM to see us and Forces of Nature play. I'll post up some new information as it comes along. For all of you minors out there, thanks for the support and the mosh pits. Also, thanks to Mary and Rachael for making it out to all of our shows. We've loved every minute of this. (Buy some videos!)
We talked with Dustin yesterday and he agreed with playing another show with us. We have it scheduled for Saturday September 9th at The Emporium with Mad Hatter and another band that will be announced later. We want a big crowd this time (like 4/20 and Cinco de Mayo)so tell everyone that you know (and even that you don't know) to be come to the show. It's all ages and $5 like always.
These are pretty much all of our songs. We'll try to have some sound files up for our newest songs, but it'll probably have to be after we get into the studio. Don't forget to sign the guestbook!
